Please be prepared and do your research before taking our word since we haven’t done these hikes ourselves!

Tanbark Loop = 2.1 mile hike from Phoenicia

If you are staying for longer than a weekend, you may want to explore more nearby!

Nearby towns of Woodstock and Kingston. Though Woodstock festival actually happened here— in Bethel, NY (quite a ways away from the town of Woodstock)!

Hunter Mountain is just North and they have events throughout the year and likely great hiking! Including Kaaterskill Falls.

Westwind Orchard is a unique and small apple orchard owned by an Italian family— they have a wood fire burning oven and make the best pizza served up with some opera serenades! It is about a 45 minute drive South of Phoenicia.

Storm King is between New York City and Phoenicia if you have some time on the way up to the wedding weekend to experience the largest collection of outdoor sculptures in the US— it’s an incredible outdoor museum and a must if you can!
